Abstract

Die SmartFactory-KL ist ein in Kaiserslautern beheimatetes Forschungs- und Industrienetzwerk. Es ruht auf drei wesentlichen Säulen: der Technologie-Initiative SmartFactory-KL e.V. sowie dem Forschungsbereich Innovative Fabriksysteme am Deutschen Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) und dem Lehrstuhl für Werkzeugmaschinen und Steuerungen an der TU Kaiserslautern. Das vorliegende White Paper gibt einen Einblick in die Vision von Production Level 4 und die zugrunde liegenden wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten, die Technologien und notwendigen Architekturen.
