SafeTrack: Monitorización en tiempo real para reforzar la seguridad industrial

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta SafeTrack, un sistema de monitorización en tiempo real desarrollado para reforzar la seguridad en entornos logísticos y prevenir accidentes laborales. El sistema combina tecnología UWB, dispositivos de posicionamiento en vehículos y trabajadores, alarmas visuales y sonoras, y una plataforma web que permite supervisión continua y generación de informes de incidencias. SafeTrack detecta situaciones de riesgo, como proximidad entre operarios y carretillas, colisiones entre vehículos y presencia en puntos ciegos, contribuyendo a una reducción significativa de accidentes. La arquitectura modular permite procesar los datos localmente, disminuyendo la latencia y el consumo de ancho de banda, mientras que la interfaz de control ofrece visualización en tiempo real y mapas de calor de las zonas más transitadas. Pruebas preliminares en entornos industriales demostraron la eficacia del sistema, mejorando la conciencia situacional de los operarios y proporcionando herramientas útiles para supervisores y responsables de prevención de riesgos. En conclusión, SafeTrack constituye una solución escalable y accesible para optimizar la seguridad industrial, con potencial de evolución hacia sistemas inteligentes capaces de anticipar patrones de riesgo.
