The publication documents the 15th edition of the Murcia Critics' Salon, organised by the Murcia Association of Art Critics (AMUCA) and held in the Ángel Imbernón Exhibition Hall of the Cristo de la Sangre Museum in Murcia (Spain) in January 2024. This collective exhibition, which celebrates AMUCA's continuity after 25 years of history, presents the work of young but established artists, selected by leading critics from the association. The exhibition is characterised by the diversity of disciplines and approaches within the current art system. There is a notable resurgence of painting, represented by artists such as Esteban Bernal, María Dolores Gallego, Lucas Brox, Manuel Pérez, Eva Mauricio and Omar Daf. Photography is also present with the works of Pilar Morales and María Bernal, as well as sculpture by Cristóbal Barbero and creation using Artificial Intelligence with the series by Pablo Sandoval. Overall, the Salon establishes a dialogue between tradition and the avant-garde, between classical pictorial expression and new technologies, fulfilling its objective of bringing together the ‘craft of criticism’ and the ‘craft of art’ before the public. For this reason, in the catalogue, each selected work of art is presented alongside its critical text. The art critics who have participated are: José Belmonte Serrano, José Alberto Bernardeau Ruíz, Rodrigo Carreño Rio, Pedro A. Cruz Fernández, Carmen Hernández Foulquié, Miguel Ángel Hernández Navarro, Isabel Pagán García, Mari Trini Sánchez Dato, Héctor Tarancón Royo and María Isabel Úbeda García.
