Application of Structural System in Building Design

Abstract

This publication introduces fundamental types of concrete structures, including reinforced, fibre reinforced and high-performance concrete, as well as traditional, prestressed and precast systems. It also presents methods of investigation of reinforced concrete structures and includes selected case studies focused on building revitalization, modernization and residential renovation, followed by examples of realized projects.
