Science Project 'Climate Neutral and Smart Cities'

Abstract

Znanstveni projekt Podnebno nevtralna in pametna mesta je raziskal praktične vidike med-disciplinarnega raziskovanja in združil podatke o odnosu do podnebnih sprememb z okoljskimi in podnebnimi podatki. V projektu so uporabili podatke Evropske družboslovne raziskave, Evropske Agencije za okolje in Evropskega centra za srednjeročne vremenske napovedi. Poudarek je bil na številnih urbanih območjih po vsej Evropi, pri čemer so obravnavali vprašanja znanstvenega sodelovanja, pa tudi tista v zvezi z integracijo podatkov ter metapodatki in sistemov, potrebnih za podporo. Na tem spletnem seminarju so bili predstavljeni cilji in rezultati projekta ter poudarjene pridobljene izkušnje ter postavljena vprašanja za nadaljnje delo v okviru EOSC. Predstavljeni so bili rezultati projekta (ki so na voljo prek prototipne storitve ESS Labs) skupaj z metodami, ki so bile uporabljene pri identifikaciji in izdelavi integriranih indikatorjev. Udeleženci so bili deležni tudi predstavitve sistema, ki je bil razvit za omogočanje enostavnega dostopa do vse podatkovne dokumentacije in informacij o poreklu spremenljivk in indikatorjev. Panelisti so razpravljali o tem, kako je mogoče prihodnosti bolje podpreti sodelovalno multidisciplinarno znanost znotraj EOSC.
