Who Is the Joke No One Knows What to Say

Abstract

This paper adopts a sharp and humorous critical approach, taking the logical trap of "the existence of ghosts" based on Einstein's theory of relativity as the starting point, to expose the hypocrisy and absurdity of modern academic experts. It points out that experts tend to use obscure professional terminology to cover up their ignorance, hold double standards in citing scientific authority, and rely on rigid academic systems to maintain their vested interests while stifling scientific innovation. Furthermore, the paper severely criticizes the political division of human society, the inefficiency of the United Nations, and the selfish internal strife of the elite class in the face of global survival crises such as extreme climate change and environmental collapse. It reveals that the modern scientific and social system has fallen into the predicament of paradigm solidification and institutional inertia, where experts have become bureaucratic components of the system, losing the spirit of exploration of the pioneers like Einstein. The paper also expounds on the tragic irony that human civilization, under the guidance of rigid experts and self-interested elites, is moving towards destruction and may even become a joke of cosmic civilizations. Finally, it puts forward that the hope for human civilization to get out of the crisis does not lie in the so-called great experts, but in the practical choices of billions of ordinary people.
