Abstract

🚀 J-Chat 2.0.0 This major release introduces a complete UI overhaul and critical architectural changes. ✨ New Features UI Aesthetic: A high-fidelity monochrome interface using DotGothic16 typography and industrial design elements. Persistent Identity: Users can now restore their accounts and chat history using a password (keyphrase) across devices. Secure Messaging Protocol: Messages are now stored persistently on the server and synced intelligently to local storage. Media Lightbox: Native support for viewing high-resolution images and videos within a dedicated lightbox. Privacy Tools: Added functionality to Block Users and Delete Chats locally. 🛠 Technical Changes Database Migration: Switched from ephemeral in-memory storage to a persistent SQLite database.
