Mazkur tadqiqotda sud protsessida xalq maslahatchilarining tutgan o‘rni va roli, O‘zbekiston Respublikasining amaldagi qonunchiligi hamda ilg‘or xorijiy davlatlar sud tizimi tajribasi asosida qiyosiy-huquqiy jihatdan tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, xalq maslahatchilarining sud hokimiyati ochiqligi, adolatli sudlov va jamoatchilik ishtirokini ta’minlashdagi ahamiyati ochib beriladi. Tadqiqot yakunida O‘zbekiston qonunchiligini takomillashtirishga qaratilgan amaliy takliflar ishlab chiqiladi.
