
This study examines educational practices and student outcomes in Chinese Independent Schools in Sabah by focusing on five key areas: dual curriculum implementation (SPM and UEC), trilingual education, academic achievement, school policies, and teacher professional development. It highlights how the integration of national and independent examinations enhances students’ academic competitiveness, while multilingual instruction strengthens language proficiency and social adaptability. The study also explores how institutional policies and teaching strategies shape learning environments and promote holistic development. Furthermore, it emphasizes the role of continuous teacher training in improving instructional quality and student performance. Overall, the synopsis presents Chinese Independent Schools in Sabah as institutions that balance cultural preservation with academic excellence, contributing positively to students’ educational and personal growth.
