Abstract

School trips are an excellent form of teacher-pupil interaction that supports the educational process. It makes the acquisition of new or previously acquired knowledge much more interesting and effective for pupils. School trips differ from other trips in that they have clearly defined educational goals and their prepared form of implementation is dependent on the scope of the content developed during the trip. In order for a trip to fulfill its educational and teaching values, it should be organized and carried out in a thorough and precise manner. Since it is a form of educational activities taking place outside of school, it obliges the teacher — the trip organizer – to prepare it in a factual, substantive, and methodical manner. The effectiveness of a trip can be related to the connection between the knowledge gained during the trip and the curriculum and the direct use of its values during lessons. The implementation of this organizational part makes the trip a proper tool for the teaching and educational process carried out by the school.

Wycieczki szkolne stanowią doskonałą formę pracy nauczyciela z uczniami, wspomagającą proces edukacji. Dzięki nim przyswajanie nowej lub zdobytej wcześniej wiedzy staje się dla nich o wiele bardziej interesujące i efektywne. Wycieczki szkolne tym się różnią od innych, że mają wyraźnie określone cele dydaktyczne i przygotowaną formę realizacji, zależną od zakresu opracowywanych na niej treści. Aby wycieczka mogła spełniać walory dydaktyczne i wychowawcze, powinna być zorganizowana i przeprowadzona w sposób dokładny i precyzyjny. Ponieważ jest to forma zajęć dydaktycznych odbywających się poza szkołą, zobowiązuje to nauczyciela – organizatora wyjazdu do rzeczowego, merytorycznego i metodycznego jej przygotowania. Skuteczność wycieczki można odnieść do powiązania zdobytej na niej wiedzy z programem nauczania i bezpośrednim wykorzystaniem jej walorów w czasie zajęć lekcyjnych. Realizacja tego elementu organizacyjnego czyni wycieczkę ważnym narzędziem procesu dydaktyczno-wychowawczego realizowanego przez szkołę.
