A Novel Mobile Bio-Eye-Tronic System Based on the Elmas's Thermodynamic Theory for Cataract Disease

Abstract

Abstract This article introduces the “Mobile Bio-Eye-Tronic System” which is an artificial vision system for the impaired (blind) people and also low vision (sight loss) people. “Mobile Bio-Eye-Tronic System” is a completely original project and unique to the authors of this article. The "ELMAS’s Thermodynamic Theory" offers a meaningful framework for understanding the medical treatment of patients using various medications or drugs. Human cells can be conceptualized as open thermodynamic systems, which means that when a patient takes a drug, energy and matter can move across the cellular boundaries. The therapeutic effects arise from these thermodynamic exchanges between the drug and the cells within the open system. Depending on the nature of the interaction, these bioprocesses of treatment can result in negative and positive or neutral changes in both matter and energy within the cells. [1], [2] This ELMAS’s Theory of Thermodynamics" suggests that effective medical treatment for the entire human body depends on carefully regulating the thermodynamic interactions, which can occur in positive, negative, or neutral directions. These interactions require energy and matter to function as dynamic parameters, acting like "force" or "velocity" during the bioprocess. Throughout this thermodynamic process, both Total Energy and Total Mass seek equilibrium with one another across the boundaries of the body's cells. In other words, the combined positive, negative, and neutral contributions of energy achieve one form of balance, while the corresponding contributions of matter establish a separate but interconnected equilibrium. [1], [2] This article introduces the “Mobile Bio-Eye-Tronic System” which is an artificial vision system for the impaired (blind) people and also low vision (sight loss) people. “Mobile Bio-Eye-Tronic System” is a completely original project and unique to the authors of this article. Based on these statistics, the main aim of this article is to appeal to hundreds of thousands of people, to help them fulfill their daily activities, even partially, to improve the quality of life of these visually impaired people and to restore their health. In addition, the scientific and technical investigations conducted in this area will help expand the existing body of literature and will also support further advancements in science and technology. [3]. When the current studies on bionic eyes are examined, there is no other system in the literature that obtains results using a mobile phone camera and software. The bionic eye stated in this article will be a first in this respect. The current expense associated with the use of bionic eyes and artificial vision systems for individual patients worldwide remains exceedingly high. [3] When these systems are imported to our country, the cost in question increases exponentially. In addition, the visual abilities and quality of these bionic eye systems also vary. Using existing mobile phone infrastructure is an extremely economical and practical method for patients to reach the bionic eye. While the use of mobile phones is the first idea, it will significantly reduce the cost of the bionic eye according to other existing studies. Thus, patients will be able to easily afford the bionic eye. In addition, the quality of life of patients will be significantly increased. [3] The Bionic Eye and Artificial Vision System to be developed will be tested for the first time in terms of using mobile phone infrastructure, developed system aims to provide enhanced visual performance while also being designed with cost-effectiveness in mind. In addition, the Bionic Eye and Artificial Vision System to be designed within the scope of this task is a local and national system development study. In this respect, it will also benefit our country economically. In conclusion, this project holds significant value for human health, as well as for scientific, technological, and economic development. Moreover, undertaking a study of this nature is highly meaningful for our institutions (Iğdır University, Turkey and Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University, Turkey), as it brings together the fields of health, science, and technology within a single comprehensive initiative.
