Abstract

RESUMO: Este artigo traz uma reflexão acerca das metodologias ativas e tecnologias digitais. Tem por objetivo central a discussão sobre as concepções e práticas do design thinking na educação superior a distância. Apresenta como elemento substancial para esta produção, as possibilidades de uso dessa abordagem centrada no estudante e sua aplicabilidade no contexto educacional contemporâneo, ponderando acerca dos pilares que juntos estabelecem o alicerce que fomentam a aplicabilidade do design thinking enquanto metodologia de ensino. Essa pesquisa classifica-se como bibliográfica, uma revisão de literatura, de caráter qualitativo e enquadra-se na categoria explicativa. Para colaborar com esta construção, este artigo aponta, ainda, algumas contribuições relevantes sobre a temática de diferentes autores que surgiram no decorrer da realização da pesquisa. Apresenta, ainda, o papel dos professores frente ao processo educativo no século XXI e dos arranjos contemporâneos para assegurar a integração ao currículo das novas tecnologias digitais na educação. E, conclui-se que, a materialização das ações se manifesta considerando as necessidades históricas, sociais e cognitivas dos alunos nos espaços de aprendizagem físicos ou virtuais. Palavras-chave: Educação a Distância. ABSTRACT: This article brings a reflection on active methodologies and digital technologies. Its central objective is to discuss the conceptions and practices of design thinking in higher education at a distance. It presents the substantial element for this production as the possibilities of using this studentcentered approach and its applicability in the contemporary educational context, considering the pillars that together establish the foundation fostering the applicability of design thinking as a teachingmethodology. This research is classified as bibliographic, a literature review of qualitative nature, falling under the explanatory category. To contribute to this construction, this article also highlights some relevant contributions on the theme from different authors that emerged during the research. Additionally, it presents the role of teachers in the educational process in the 21st century and contemporary arrangements to ensure the integration of new digital technologies into the curriculum. It is concluded that the materialization of actions takes into account the historical, social, and cognitive needs of students in physical or virtual learning spaces. Keywords: Distance Learning.
