
This article examines the role of multicultural education in the development of intercultural competence among students in contemporary educational settings. In the context of globalization and increasing cultural diversity, intercultural competence has become an essential educational outcome. The study analyzes multicultural education as a pedagogical approach that promotes cultural awareness, tolerance, and effective intercultural communication. Based on established theoretical models and qualitative analysis, the research highlights how multicultural curricula, inclusive teaching practices, and reflective learning environments contribute to students’ cognitive, affective, and behavioral development.
