# ChinaForestSOC-DSM — Forest Soil Organic Carbon Digital Soil Mapping (DSM)# Short descriptionChinaForestSOC-DSM is an R-based reproducible pipeline for mapping forest soil organic carbon (SOC) across China using sample-based Quantile Random Forest (QRF). The repository provides scripts for: (1) forward recursive feature selection (FRFS), (2) hyperparameter tuning and model training, (3) variable importance calculation and plotting, and (4) block-wise raster prediction and mosaic. The pipeline is parameterized via a central `config.yml` and aims to be clear and reproducible for reviewers. The code will be updated at "https://github.com/cjz-ux/ChinaForestSOC-DSM".
