PeerPower Multiplier Event 1 Presentation Slides

Abstract

In the first Multiplier Event that took place online on 5th February 2026 we presented PeerPower: PeerPower is a European initiative that aims to transform how early-career researchers (ECRs; PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers) are supported within higher education. Many ECRs experience stress, isolation, and uncertainty, often without access to structured peer support or resources for mental health and professional development. PeerPower addresses these challenges by building peer-led communities, developing open-access learning materials, and embedding well-being and digital learning into research training.
