Countering Anti-Gender Politics in Europe: Evidence-Based Policy Recommendations From the RESIST Project

Abstract

This toolkit presents evidence-based policy recommendations from the RESIST Project to address the rise of anti‑gender politics in Europe. It focuses on safeguarding and strengthening civil society, countering hostile and misleading media narratives, and protecting democratic institutions and fundamental rights. The insights presented in this toolkit are grounded in consultations and workshops with leading European experts in LGBTIQ+ rights, trans rights, women’s rights, and queer‑feminist resistance across various national contexts.
