Unit Chen distribution

Abstract

Please see the paper by Mazucheli, page 15. The Unit Chen distribution is referenced as 59; this reference indicates that Korkmaz et al. 2022 are the inventors of the Unit Chen distribution (published in Mathematica Slovaca). This is a paid article. But Ammar Sarhan (2025) also published the unit Chen distribution in Scientific African. The same PDF, CDF, quantile function, and application in quantile regression, as mentioned in Mazucheli's paper, which referenced the Korkmaz et al. paper. So, who is the owner of this Unit distribution? If you want to reference the Unit Chen distribution, as an author, which author would you choose? Another question is how such a publisher Elsevier, did not discover that?

Keywords
