This article examines the commemorative medal “Numismatic and Pod Duang Association of Thailand: 2023 Exhibition,” issued for the Thailand International Numismatic Fair 2023 (TINF 2023). The study focuses on the artistic symbolism, technical characteristics and historical significance embedded in the medal’s design. The obverse features a Chinese guardian figure combined with the iconic pagodas of Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan (Wat Pho), representing key elements of early Rattanakosin Buddhist art, while the reverse displays the emblem of the Numismatic and Pod Duang Association of Thailand together with inscriptions identifying the TINF 2023 exhibition. Employing qualitative analysis based on direct examination of the physical artifact, supported by exhibition documentation and numismatic heritage frameworks, the article interprets the medal as a contemporary cultural object. Produced by the Rangsit Mint using a special dark sandblasted finish, the medal is composed of 95 percent copper, weighs approximately 150 grams, measures 70 millimeters in diameter, and was issued in a strictly limited mintage of 200 pieces. The study concludes that the TINF 2023 commemorative medal represents a refined example of contemporary Thai numismatic production, integrating artistic heritage, historical reference and advanced minting techniques and holds significant value for both academic research and specialized collecting.
