
Zayne’s Law of Visual Reality defines the invariant constraints required for perceived realism in images and cinematic scenes. The law formalizes non-violable physical, perceptual, and informational conditions whose satisfaction produces realism and whose violation produces visual falseness. The formulation is independent of tools, style, or technology.
