Charte d'accompagnement équilibré et émancipateur

Abstract

This charter formalizes a safety and accountability framework for support and coaching practices when identity, emotional, and decision-related issues are at stake. It aims to make influence explicit and open to discussion, to define clear boundaries for intervention, and to enable evaluation through observable effects in real-life situations, including follow-up over time. The text provides operational requirements, intervention limits, prudence criteria, and conduct rules intended to reduce risks of capture, normalization, and powerlessness masked by posture alone. It specifies the minimal conditions for a defensible intervention, modalities for suspension and stopping, and the need for referral when the issue exceeds the practitioner’s competence. The goal is not to promise effectiveness, but to make evaluation structurally possible and to restore explicit responsibility for what is being undertaken. This charter is a working document, intended to evolve through testing and critical feedback.
