This article analyzes the inextricable link between traditional performing arts and modern musical interpretations and the process of their harmonization from a scientific and theoretical perspective. It also covers the issues of harmonizing the main performing principles of the national musical heritage, in particular, the traditions of maqom and folk instrument performance with modern musical thinking, new means of artistic expression and technological approaches.
