Habitat: This species is found in the middle to lower course of rivers. Distribution: On Mindoro: Localities no. 4, 5, 8, 10, 13, 14, 19–27, 29–36, 38, and 40. The Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Japan (Ryukyu). Remarks: This species seems to be the most common in the localities sampled for the present study as in the rest of the Philippines according to Cai et al. (2009) [13]. This species has been assessed as Least Concern for the IUCN Red List (De Grave and Cai, 2013 [83]).
