Bases científicas de la agricultura regenerativa

Abstract

Las ideas alrededor del tema de la agricultura regenerativa poseen una importancia cada vez mayor a nivel mundial, por su relación con el ámbito agroalimentario, la salud de las personas, la biodiversidad, así como por la sostenibilidad de los ecosistemas y el paisaje en general. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las bases científicas de la agricultura regenerativa. La metodología es una revisión sistemática acerca de las principales bases científicas que se han informado en los últimos 5 años en relación con la agricultura regenerativa a nivel internacional. Se consultaron artículos científicos disponibles en inglés y español en las bases de datos de Elsevier, Scopus, ScienceDirects y Redalyc, utilizando las palabras clave: agricultura regenerativa y bases científicas de la agricultura regenerativa. En los resultados se analizaron las bases científicas relacionadas con la salud del suelo, el secuestro de carbono, la pérdida de biodiversidad, el paisaje, la localización, la integración de animales y la microbiología. En conclusión, la agricultura regenerativa engloba una serie de prácticas que colocan en primer lugar la regeneración del suelo, como una premisa para impulsar la estructura total del ecosistema.
