This community-based survey report examines how individuals perceive offline safety, digital safety, and gender equality in the Indian context. Using a mixed-method survey with 89 respondents across diverse age groups, the study analyzes public experiences, fears, digital behaviours, and expectations. The findings highlight major concerns related to cyberstalking, harassment, unsafe digital environments, community restrictions, and infrastructural gaps. Participants also demonstrated strong awareness of gender equality and suggested practical solutions for improving digital safety in their communities. This report contributes to ongoing discussions on gender-responsive digital governance and community-level safety interventions.
