Abstract

O ensino da gramática da língua inglesa no Brasil é marcado por uma tensão entre abordagens tradicionais, centradas na memorização e aplicação de regras, e perspectivas comunicativas que buscam integrar o conhecimento gramatical ao uso autêntico da língua. Este artigo apresenta uma revisão teórica e analítica sobre as principais abordagens adotadas em contextos educacionais brasileiros, com base em estudos recentes, e discute os desafios e perspectivas para uma prática pedagógica mais integrada e significativa.
