This repository contains the data of 188 electrically stimulated auditory nerve fibers of guinea pigs. The nerve fibers were stimulated for 100 ms with constant amplitude pulse trains. All fiber have been stimulated with 200 pps, 1000 pps, and 2000 pps, and some fibers additionally with 5000 pps. The pulses used where cathodic leading, bi-phasic pulses with 25 µs phase length and 8 µs inter-phasic gap. The dataset contains data from acutely deafened animals and animals that had been deafened five weeks before the recordings. Both the recorded voltage traces and the detected the spike times, which can be downloaded separately and are provided both as .mat file or .csv file The data has been recorded for the work of Heffer et al. (2010) Heffer LF, Sly DJ, Fallon JB, White MW, Shepherd RK, O'Leary SJ.
