Su potencia reside en separar de manera estricta la validez estructural de una derivación de la verdad de sus conclusiones, permitiendo detectar circularidad, cierres implícitos y blindajes lógicos que permanecen invisibles en enfoques tradicionales. PIR funciona como una herramienta de control racional aplicable a demostraciones matemáticas, modelos científicos, sistemas formales y procesos decisorios complejos, ofreciendo un estándar explícito, falsable y no autorreferencial para evaluar la legitimidad del razonamiento antes de aceptar sus resultados.
