Quantum Entanglement Structure Theory (QEST): A Three-Threshold Framework for Consciousness

Abstract

Quantum Entanglement Structure Theory (QEST) proposes a thermodynamic and systems-based framework for understanding consciousness and purpose as emergent regulatory processes within physical systems. The paper explores how entanglement structures may function as a substrate for coherence, persistence, and adaptive stability across scales, without invoking non-physical mechanisms. This work is intended as a speculative, interdisciplinary proposal and is presented as a preprint for open discussion.
