Financiamiento a las economías rurales: Un acercamiento al caso de México

Abstract

El crecimiento de la economía es crucial para alcanzar las metas de desarrollo social. Las economías rurales son parte fundamental de los países y es necesario impulsarlas. El objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar cómo se financian las economías rurales, el caso de México. El tema es relevante en la coyuntura del cambio de gobierno en México en el contexto de las expectativas respecto a que dichas economías que ameritan ser atendidas. La metodología fue de tipo cualitativa fundamentalmente y describe como ocurren los financiamientos públicos a las economías rurales de Europa, Estados Unidos y México respectivamente. En el caso de México emplea datos de las variables crecimiento económico (producto interno bruto, producto interno bruto sectorial y financiamiento federal al desarrollo rural). La periodicidad de los datos es anual. Los resultados revelan patrones de lento crecimiento económico y descapitalización permanentes en estas a lo largo del periodo. Se concluye en esta investigación en la necesidad de promover políticas y estrategias tendientes a revitalizar estas regiones económicas
