Vector Map of Forest Land Cover

Abstract

The vector map of forest land cover is one of the main cartographic results of the Continuous Forest Inventory of Galicia, Spain. It is the reference product for Galicia's forest resources. It can be viewed on the portal's viewer (https://invega.xunta.gal/invega/visor-gis). The dataset is available as a vector layer of polygons that are equal to cadastral parcels or subdivisions of them. Every polygon shows the majority land cover within the polygon, from among the 23 thematic classes. Attributes description is available at this link (https://zenodo.org/api/records/18374381/draft/files/Legend_Vector_map_Forest_covers.pdf/content).
