This dataset contains tropospheric ammonia retrieval data observed by the Hyperspectral Infrared Atmospheric Sounder-II on board China’s FengYun-3F satellite (FY-3F), which was launched in 2023. The datasets include NH3 column estimates, the uncertainty, and the column averaging kernel (AVK) information. The dataset features a spatial resolution of 14 km and provides two global observations daily, acquired in the morning (~10:10 local solar time) and dusk (~22:10 local solar time), respectively. Pre-filtering has been applied to guarantee high data quality. Prior to using this dataset, please reach out to the data manager Jiancong Hua (huajc@stu.pku.edu.cn) and the project lead Zhao-Cheng Zeng(zczeng@pku.edu.cn) for more detailed information. A Python code for reading and plotting the data is also available. Please visit project website for updates: https://fengyunair.github.io/
