Theory of Fundamental Belief (TFB): Conceptual Framework and Cognitive Axis Definition
Authors: Montgomery, Christian;

(TFB/TCF) Theory of Fundamental Belief: Belief as the Code of Life Final Consolidated Intellectual Work (v1.0)

Abstract

This document registers a conceptual extension of the Theory of Fundamental Belief (TFB), clarifying that belief operates as an organizing axis not only in humans but also in non-rational living beings. The extension does not introduce new principles or modify the original framework. It solely demonstrates that the belief axis defined by the TFB operates prior to language, symbolic reasoning, and existential consciousness, and is therefore not exclusive to human cognition. This note is linked to the main TFB framework and is intended as a theoretical clarification of scope, not as a revision or methodological expansion.

This document registers a conceptual clarification within the Theory of Fundamental Belief (TFB), confirming that belief has always operated as a single axis expressed through multiple operational levels. Without altering the original framework, this extension demonstrates that belief is continuously present across life, even in non-rational living beings, operating through orientation, functional action under uncertainty, and movement beyond comprehension. The document formalizes that belief does not require intensity or full awareness to function; a minimal threshold , a grain of belief is sufficient to orient life.

This document registers a conceptual clarification within the Theory of Fundamental Belief (TFB), demonstrating that orientation driven by non-visible variables operates across living systems, including microorganisms such as bacteria. It does not introduce new principles or modify the original framework. It articulates continuity of the same organizing axis across levels of life, showing that belief, as defined by TFB, precedes cognition, language, and existential awareness.
