Abstract

Το θέμα εξετάζει τη σημασία της ισορροπημένης διατροφής και της φυσικής δραστηριότητας στη διατήρηση της υγείας και της ευεξίας. Μέσα από πρακτικές συμβουλές και ανάλυση επιστημονικών δεδομένων, οι μαθητές/τριες καλούνται να αξιοποιήσουν γνώσεις Βιολογίας (μεταβολισμός, ενεργειακές ανάγκες, γλυκαιμικός δείκτης) και επιστημονικών διαδικασιών, και να σκεφτούν κριτικά, προκειμένου να: • υπολογίσουν τις ενεργειακές ανάγκες ενός ατόμου ανάλογα με το επίπεδο φυσικής του δραστηριότητας,• αξιολογήσουν την αξιοπιστία διατροφικών ισχυρισμών που διαδίδονται στο διαδίκτυο, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την επιστημονική τεκμηρίωση,• αναγνωρίσουν διατροφικές επιλογές βασισμένες στον γλυκαιμικό δείκτη των τροφών, ώστε το άτομο να διατηρεί σταθερά επίπεδα ενέργειας κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας.
