Abstract

Το θέμα εστιάζει στην κατανομή ηφαιστείων και σεισμών στον πλανήτη, καθώς και στα όρια των λιθοσφαιρικών πλακών. Οι μαθητές/τριες θα πρέπει να αντλήσουν πληροφορίες κυρίως από χάρτες, διαγράμματα και πίνακες, να αξιοποιήσουν γνώσεις φυσικών επιστημών και να σκεφτούν κριτικά, προκειμένου να: • εντοπίσουν περιοχές του πλανήτη με μικρή πιθανότητα ηφαιστειακής δραστηριότητας ή σεισμών,• εξηγήσουν ότι οι ηφαιστειακές εκρήξεις περιέχουν συστατικά, τα οποία επηρεάζουν την ηλιακή ακτινοβολία που φτάνει στο έδαφος της Γης,• συγκρίνουν την αύξηση της συγκέντρωσης του CO2 στην ατμόσφαιρα από τις ηφαιστειακές εκρήξεις με αυτήν που προέρχεται από άλλες πηγές.
