Το θέμα εξετάζει τη χρήση της ανάλυσης DNA στην εγκληματολογία και τον ρόλο της επιστημονικής μεθόδου στην εξιχνίαση εγκλημάτων. Οι μαθητές/τριες καλούνται να διαβάσουν κείμενο, να αξιοποιήσουν γνώσεις Bιολογίας (ρόλος του DNA) και δεξιότητες επιστημονικής διαδικασίας, και να σκεφτούν κριτικά, προκειμένου να: • προσδιορίσουν τι είναι το DNA και ποιος είναι ο ρόλος του στον οργανισμό,• διακρίνουν ανάμεσα σε ερωτήματα ποια μπορούν να απαντηθούν με επιστημονική έρευνα και ποια όχι.
