
GenusEuparatettixHancock, 1904 Synonyms. — Indatettix Hancock, 1915. Euparatettixoides Zheng, 1994. Type species. — Paratettix personatus Bolívar, 1887, by subsequent designation Taxonomic remarks. — Vertex not produced in front of eyes; vertex and eyes raised above pronotum level; antennae inserted below middle of compound eyes; medium carinae of pronotum not undulated; mid-femora not wide compared to Ergatettix. Composition. — The genus includes 71 valid species worldwide (Cigliano et al. 2025), eight of which are recorded from India (Chand et al. 2024) and a single species from Kerala (Thasnim et al. 2023).
