FREEDA genome assemblies (NCBI GenBank) - Drosophila

Authors: Dudka, Damian;

FREEDA genome assemblies (NCBI GenBank) - Drosophila

Abstract

DescriptionThis record provides a curated snapshot of public NCBI GenBank genome assembly FASTA files used as reference inputs for the FREEDA pipeline. Assemblies are redistributed unchanged for convenience and reproducibility. Provenance and identifiers: Each genome is identified by its NCBI GenBank assembly accession and version as listed in FREEDA_genomes.xlsx, along with the corresponding NCBI Assembly URLs. Users should cite the original genome resources via their accessions and any associated primary publications. Rights note: NCBI places no restrictions on the use or distribution of GenBank molecular data, but notes that some original submitters (or countries of origin) may assert patent/copyright/other IP claims in portions of submitted data; users are responsible for compliance where applicable. Related work: This dataset supports the FREEDA pipeline described in: https://doi.org/10.1083/jcb.202212084 (added under “Related works”).
