WHY IS READING CULTURE DECLINING?

Abstract

Reading culture has long been regarded as one of the most important foundations of intellectual, moral, and cultural development in society. However, in recent decades, many countries around the world have witnessed a noticeable decline in reading culture, especially among young people. This article aims to analyze the main reasons behind the decreasing interest in reading books, focusing on technological advancement, changes in lifestyle, educational challenges, and social factors.
