Abstract

Bu çalışma, Conrad Phillip Kottak’ın antropolojik perspektifi üzerinden, Antik Yunan ve Roma’daki sosyo-politik yapıların günümüz Türkiye’sinin kırsal ve merkezi siyasal dinamikleriyle olan tarihsel sürekliliğini analiz etmektedir. Makalenin temel sorunsalı, tarım toplumunun modernleşme süreciyle tasfiye edilmesinin yarattığı "sosyal iflasın", sağ-merkez siyaset tarafından nasıl bir tahakküm aracına dönüştürüldüğüdür.
