Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikanimplementasi model pembelajaran Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengkaji penerapan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan menggunakan pendekatankualitatif dengan metodologi penelitian kepustakaan, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan dengan fokus pada proses penerapan, dampakterhadap komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis, faktorpendukung dan penghambat, serta respons siswaterhadap model pembelajaran ini. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL melalui tahapanyang sistematis menghasilkan transformasi peran guru menjadi fasilitator dan siswa menjadi peneliti aktif, sehingga tercipta lingkungan yang kondusif untukmengembangkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. PjBL berdampak positif terhadap berbagai komponenkemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, meliputi interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, inferensi, penjelasan, dan pengaturandiri. Keberhasilan penerapan PjBL ditentukan oleh kualitas perencanaan pembelajaran, ketersediaan sumberdaya, dan kemampuan guru dalam memfasilitasipembelajaran, sedangkan tantangannya meliputiketerbatasan waktu, pemahaman guru yang kurangmemadai, dan budaya pendidikan yang masihberorientasi pada hasil tes standar. Model PjBL yang efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritismemiliki karakteristik kompleksitas yang sesuai, keaslian, otonomi siswa, pendekatan interdisipliner, perancah yang memadai, refleksi metakognitif, dan penilaian autentik. Penelitian ini menyiratkan perlunya reorientasi praktikpembelajaran dan integrasi sistematis PjBL dalamkurikulum sekolah dasar untuk mengoptimalkanpengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di era modern.
