LA CONTABILIDAD DE COSTOS EN ENTORNOS DE PRODUCCIÓN INTELIGENTES: DESAFÍOS Y OPORTUNIDADES

Abstract

La transformación digital en el contexto de la Industria 4.0 ha provocado un cambio sustancial en los sistemas de información contable, particularmente en la contabilidad de costos. Este artículo presenta una revisión conceptual sobre los desafíos y oportunidades que enfrentan las organizaciones al adaptar sus modelos de costeo a entornos de producción inteligentes caracterizados por el uso de tecnologías como IoT, inteligencia artificial, big data y automatización. Se analizan las limitaciones de los enfoques tradicionales, que resultan insuficientes ante la necesidad de obtener información en tiempo real, trazabilidad de procesos y análisis predictivo de costos. La metodología se basa en el análisis crítico de literatura reciente, identificando tendencias emergentes como el costeo basado en datos, los gemelos digitales y la automatización contable. Los resultados evidencian que el costeo inteligente permite mejorar la toma de decisiones, optimizar recursos y alinear la contabilidad con la estrategia empresarial. Sin embargo, se requieren cambios estructurales en los procesos organizativos, la formación del talento humano y los marcos normativos. Las conclusiones destacan la necesidad de reconceptualizar la contabilidad de costos como un sistema inteligente de generación de valor, proponiendo acciones concretas para empresas, profesionales contables e instituciones educativas
