Perspectivas y discursos acerca de la diversidad e inclusión en la comunidad universitaria

Abstract

Las líneas de investigación sobre diversidad e inclusión han incrementado de forma notoria en los últimos años. Sin embargo, son escasos los estudios que integran la perspectiva de diferentes agentes y, más escasos aún, aquellos que se desarrollan dentro del marco epistemológico y metodológico de la Pedagogía Crítica. En este sentido, el objetivo de la investigación ha sido analizar las perspectivas y discursos personales e institucionales acerca de la diversidad e inclusión en la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid a partir de las voces de la comunidad universitaria dentro de tres líneas discursivas o paradigmas: integrador, inclusivo-canónico e inclusivo-transformador. En el estudio han participado 47 personas de diferentes grupos de la comunidad universitaria, utilizando como técnica de producción de datos la entrevista. Los resultados se obtienen coordinando un sistema de codificación abierta y axial y se presentan siguiendo tres códigos: concepto de diversidad, actitudes hacia la inclusión y concepto institucional de diversidad e inclusión. Las conclusiones permiten identificar la permanencia de un modelo hegemónico de naturaleza bancaria, a pesar de que sí ha habido una evolución positiva en las perspectivas y discursos acerca de la diversidad e inclusión.
