Abstract

пойменные леса бассейна р. Жайык (Урал) имеют большое экологическое значение для формирования климата, сохранения водных и биологических ресурсов, водорегулирования, защиты почвы. На территории пойменных лесов находятся сотни больших и малых придаточных водоемов, являющихся природными нерестилищами сазана, леща, воблы, густеры и других рыб. Обводнение этих водоемов в паводок и эффективность на них нереста, во многом определяет эффективность природного воспроизводства рыбных популяций, и соответственно влияет на состояния биоразнообразия реки.
