Estrategias competitivas enfocados en la creación de valor en granjas de huevos de libre pastoreo

Abstract

Las organizaciones sin importar su tamaño, se encuentra en la búsqueda continua de la maximización de sus utilidades, para lo cual implementan el uso de estrategias competitivas que generen un valor agregado a la organización y las diferencie del resto, para lo cual es necesario que creen programas, planes, metas y objetivos, así como estrategias específicas, diseñadas considerando aspectos internos y externos que las impactan. En este archivo se presenta el caso de una granja que produce huevo con la técnica de libre pastoreo, ubicada en el municipio de Conkal, Yucatán que ofrece este producto de forma local, pero que para su consolidación tiene la necesidad de establecer diferentes directrices para su producción, comercialización y distribución. En los últimos años, las megatendencias del mercado muestran que la población mundial se preocupa cada vez más por su físico, y en general por su salud, por lo que cada vez existen más personas que consuman productos con mayor cantidad de nutrientes como son los huevos producidos con técnicas como el libre pastoreo. Sin embargo, hasta hoy en México, y en específico en Yucatán son escasas las empresas establecidas que se dedican a esta técnica de producción por lo que se considera que pudiera tener un impacto significativo en cuanto al nivel económico, así como social en el estado. Con esta investigación se quiere proponer estrategias competitivas enfocadas a crear valor en las granjas de huevo al libre pastoreo, para lo que se empleó la investigación tipo descriptiva, con un enfoque mixto, en la que mediante encuestas se buscó conocer las preferencias del mercando encontrando una relación significativamente positiva entre las variables promedio de piezas compradas y la frecuencia de cuanto pagaría por huevo al libre pastoreo. Esto permitió proponer diferentes estrategias competitivas para ayudar a la empresa a crear valor.

Organizations, regardless of their size, are constantly seeking to maximize their profits. To achieve this, they implement competitive strategies that generate added value and differentiate them from the rest. This requires the creation of programs, plans, goals, and objectives, as well as specific strategies, designed considering internal and external aspects that impact them. This file presents the case of a farm that produces eggs using free-range techniques. This farm is located in the municipality of Conkal, Yucatán. This farm offers this product locally, but for its consolidation, it needs to establish different guidelines for its production, marketing, and distribution. In recent years, market megatrends show that the world's population is increasingly concerned about their physique, and their health in general, which is why more and more people are consuming products with higher amounts of nutrients, such as eggs produced using techniques such as free-range eggs. However, to date, in Mexico, and specifically in Yucatán, there are few established companies dedicated to this production technique, so it is considered that it could have a significant impact on the state's economic and social status. This research aims to propose competitive strategies focused on creating value in free-range egg farms. For this purpose, descriptive research was used, with a mixed approach. Through surveys, market preferences were explored, finding a significantly positive relationship between the variables of average number of pieces purchased and the frequency of how much they would pay per free-range egg. This allowed for the proposal of different competitive strategies to help the company create value.
