This article analyzes the current state of laboratory equipment procurement in Uzbekistan during the period2018–2025. The study examines procurement volumes across research institutions and higher education organizations,institutional distribution patterns, funding mechanisms, and key challenges affecting procurement efficiency. Particularattention is given to the relationship between laboratory infrastructure development and national research anddevelopment (R&D) expenditure, as well as its positive impact on students and early-career researchers.
