Genus Epoligosita Girault, 1916 Paroligosita Girault & Dodd in Girault 1915: 145. Type species: Paroligosita biclavata Girault & Dodd, by monotypy. Epoligosita Girault, 1916 in Doutt & Viggiani, 1968: 543. Epoligositina Livingstone & Yacoob, 1983: 213. Type species: Epoligosita (Epoligositina) duliniae Livingstone & Yacoob, by monotypy. Epoligositina Livingstone & Yacoob, 1983 in Lin, 1990: 47–49 (As a subgenus) Pinto & Viggiani, 2004: 279 (renewed status as subgenus). Diagnosis: Female. Antenna with club 1–3 segmented, distinct funicle segment present or absent. Mid lobe of mesoscutum and scutellum each with one pair of setae; propodeum subtriangular. Forewings with a bare disc and narrowly rounded apex; marginal fringe usually longer than FWW, marginal vein long and straight and longer than premarginal and submarginal vein; postmarginal vein absent. Male. Genitalia tubular, without digiti and claspers. Comments. The genus Epoligosita Girault is very close to Oligosita Haliday, but differs by having forewings apically narrow, with disc bare; club 1–3 (C1–C3) segmented and funicle segment either present or absent, if present, single segmented. In Oligosita, forewings apically rounded, but disc at least with few setae; club 3-segmented and a single funicle present.
