On 5 April 1255, Doña Lambra, wife of Lope García de Losa, one of the conquerors of the city of Córdoba, increased the endowment of the chapel of San Miguel, where her husband was already buried. Between 1255 and 1267, these pious endowments were expanded by Doña Lambra and her daughters, Lambra and María López. In addition to the founders and their relatives, other prominent figures were buried in this chapel, including some beneficiaries of the cathedral, which gives us an idea of the importance of this chapel of San Miguel, especially during the Middle Ages. Two tombstones from this chapel have been preserved, although they have been moved from their original position. One of them belongs to Canon Miguel de Salcedo, who was a seise and singer in the Aragonese chapel of King Ferdinand the Catholic.
