Relación entre el bienestar integral docente y la calidad educativa en el nivel básico medio

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio consistió en determinar la relación entre el bienestar docente y la calidad educativa en básica media de la Unidad Educativa Nacional Tena; para ello se empleó el método cuantitativo con diseño no experimental y alcance correlacional, con 40 pares de docente–estudiante seleccionados mediante muestreo aleatorio simple. De igual manera, se efectuaron dos cuestionarios con la validación de expertos, que contenían 15 ítems para la categoría calidad y 20 ítems para la categoría bienestar, con un apartado para datos sociodemográficos. El Alfa de Cronbach tuvo una puntuación de 0,953 y los datos no reflejaron supuesto de normalidad (p < 0,001). En los resultados, se identificó una correlación entre calidad educativa y bienestar integral docente de orientación positiva y magnitud media alta (ρ = 0,629; p < 0,001), también, el ambiente escolar en el aula reflejó asociación alta con la calidad educativa (ρ = 0,910; p < 0,001); además, las categorías satisfacción – motivación y autoeficacia demostraron vínculos leves con varios indicadores de enseñanza pedagógica y participación de los estudiantes. En conclusión, se demuestra que mientras más elevado está el bienestar integral docente, los estudiantes asimilan una mayor calidad educativa en el nivel básica medio.
