Educational Video Demonstration of Distal End-to-Side Interposition Graft Technique in the Femoral Artery Based on Published Surgical Literature

Abstract

This educational video provides a video-based technical demonstration of the distal end-to-side interposition graft technique in the femoral artery, based on published surgical literature. The technique is presented for educational and surgical training purposes, with a focus on anastomotic configuration, graft orientation, angulation, and flow-related considerations. Original article:Nehler MR, Taylor LM Jr, Lee RW, Moneta GL, Porter JM. Interposition grafting for reoperation on the common femoral artery. J Vasc Surg. 1998 Jul;28(1):37-42; discussion 42-4. doi: 10.1016/s0741-5214(98)70198-3. PMID: 9685129. No claim of authorship or originality of the described surgical technique is made. This work represents a video-based educational interpretation intended for surgical training purposes.
