
Collaboration and communication skills are integral components of 21st-century competencies required to respond to technological advancements and globalization. The Discovery Learning model offers an alternative approach to enhancing student collaboration and communication. This study analyzes the influence of the Discovery Learning model on students' mathematical collaboration and communication skills in mathematics education. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA protocol to evaluate relevant articles from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. Out of 112 initially identified articles, six met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. The results indicate that Discovery Learning effectively enhances students' communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas verbally, in writing, and through mathematical notation. Additionally, the model improves students' collaborative skills in areas such as responsibility, flexibility, cooperation, and group interaction. Through its structured approach—comprising stages such as stimulation, data collection, and generalization—Discovery Learning promotes active, meaningful, and interactive learning. These findings recommend the implementation of Discovery Learning to support mathematics education aligned with the demands of the modern era.
